Merry Christmas ! Joy to the World

Hello my friends, we are gearing and nearing to Christmas and with all the cards and projects around the world I find extremely tempted to make one.

I loved making this projects with Cheery Lynn dies and this time I have used the smallest die to create a card.

Below is my card to share with you all today. This card is inspired by Cheery Lynn Challenges and also Card Concept.

I love using Cheery Lynn dies and so this time I did not use any big or major flower die.

I am entering this card for 2 below Challenges.

1. Cheery Lynn #244 Red and Green Theme.

Used 3 different Cheery Lynn Dies for this projects. Red Green and Christmas what could have been a better than a Wreath. I thoroughly enjoyed creating the card.

Also as you note I have used very small flowers for the center piece.

2. The Card Concept # 63 Love and Joy.

The picture completely inspired me, I have picked up few elements from the photo for my card.
1. I used the Red and Green theme.
2.The Wreath
3.The Word JOY up on the wall.

Product Used

Cheery Lynn : Embellishent #3( For the Small Flowers)

Anything Goes with Dies : DCAM Border Dies

Hello Everyone, I am  here today with projects for DCAM this months Challenge " Anything Goes with Dies".

I had fun using the border dies and I am making some background using the dies.

This card is a 5.5 X 4.25 and has a double layer panel. I have used the word Happy from the Diwali Dies Set and die cut many of the word Happy .

Later I colored each word using distress ink. Cut a white CS using the DCAM Border Die and then lined up the Happy works at regular Intervals.

Also used a Black inner lining for the panel. Cut a Happy word using a Gold foil for the bold look of the sentiment.

Die cut some Hearts and starts and stuck in between of the each of the words.

My Second Card is a fun one and I completely enjoyed while working on it.

I used a Water Color paper and using Distress ink colored it all through. Used the border stitched die and die cut regular strips .

later adhered all the strips one after the other on a white Card based.

Used the Cloud Border dies and dry embossed it and then die cut using the cloud border die.

Later added the Cloud die cuts at the border.
Used Lawn Fawn set for the cute elephants and the sentiments.

Added the silver start for to add a spark.

So here's how I have used the dies to create the background. Its a fun technique and all should give a try to create your own unique background using any dies that you have.

Hope you like it and do leave some love and comments :)

See you soon at the next Blog!

Its a Girl!

Hello Everyone, I am  here today with a brand new card using the DCAM Stencil and dies. Its a very cute project and I thoroughly enjoyed creating it.

So now its turn for the project. I will explain in detail how I created this.

The final card measures 5.5x5.5. It has 3 layers. First layer is made with water color background. First used the DCAM Die " Its a Girl" and placed it diagonally. Later used shades of pink distress ink for the water color effect.

Once the layer is created, tore it and distressed the edge. For the second layer Used the DCAM Stencil to create a background with texture paste. Its a pink CS and hence did not color the background. Left it white textured.

Now for the center piece. I used the DCAM square die and die cut 10 pieces. Created a stack with 8 and then used the rest two after placing the sequins.

At the bottom stamped a baby stamp on a vellum sheet from my collection to add to the theme.

This way if you make any shaker its much easier and also the sequins would not stick to the sides.
The flowers, lace, trims are all from my collection.

Later finished the card with some candy rock glitter and white splatter

Untill Then keep crafting!

Happy Thanks!

Hello Friends, today I have a card for the coming thanksgiving holidays and also to celebrate fall!

I must say I had fun making this project specially with the colors and some new products that I have used.

In addition the season, the weather enables it all. There are lot of little details that I have added .

Coming to the details. Itsy Bitsy Team send me some samples of their newly launched color splash colour sprays along with stencils and some card stock.

I have used the Stencil and the color spray in this project. The sprays are absolute perfect for any surface. I have used it on canvas, water color paper ( On this Project), Neenah CS and also fabric.

They have a clear stain effect and gives you the perfect look.

So first I took a water color paper and using the stencil I sprayed the Mocha and Lemon. Later I used the stencil and embossed with white embossing powder. And also used white texture paste to give a third layer.

This is the first time I have used 3 different medium with the stencil and it has given me the perfect look I wanted.

Now for the embellishments, I have used the Cheery Lynn Dies for the doily and also the flowers. This time the gardenia looks different :). Wanted to give a very loose and shredded look to the leaves and flowers.

Used some wooden beads to give a texture along with metal ribbon. Since its a very busy card kept the sentiment very simple.

I am playing the Cheery Lynn and Card Concept Challenge with this card hence used the fall theme as per the challenge rules.

For the leave I have fussy cut from a DCWV paper stack. Layered with 2 base card stock and finished it.

Product Used:
Dies: Cheery Lynn Gardenia Strip | English Tea Party Doily | Embellishment #3
Dies: W plus Tag Die
Color : Itsy Bitsy Color Splash Lemon and Mocha | Distress Inks
Stencil : Itsy Bitsy Leaf Stencil
Camlin Texture paste | Beads | Metal Embellishments

Thanks!

Hello Friends,

Today I have a card for the Altenew current Challenge. This is my first try with Altenew Stamps, have been wanting to trys some projects with the beautiful altenew collection.

The color theme and flower inspired me from the Challenge post.

I enjoyed thoroughly working with the stamp sets.

I wanted to give a slight touch of 3D shape to the flowers. The card measures 5.5x5.5 with 4 layers.

I stamped the magnolia flower with archival black ink onto a water color paper. Colored with distress ink and water color pencil. Used 2 layers on the flower to emboss it and have a 3D effect.

Shaped the petals with the embossing tools. For the base of the card, I used a neutral shade pattern paper onto I stamped Magnolia with Distress ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Later with yellow pencil color I added light shade to the flower buds and petal.

On a white card based used a orange mesh to create the back onto which I put the background stamped layer.

Used a spell binder and DCAM die to create the frame.Fussy cut the flower and arranged it with a tulle bow and some cotton twines.

White embossed the sentiment on a black CS and finished with some enamel dots and white splatter of gesso.

Product Used

Altenew : Magnolia for you Stamp Set
Spellbinder : Nestabilities Decorative Die
DCAM : Basic Square Die
Distress Ink | Water Color Pencil

I have used the yellow, red and green shade for my card along with the flower as the focal element,

Do share how you like it.

Hugs!

Hello Everyone, hope this finds you in your crafty space. Today I have a very simply card to share however I had fun creating this one.

I love water coloring and specially since I have found the perfect papers for water coloring.

  • Today I used a Peek-a-boo stamp set and used one of the flower bunch to water color.
  • I stamped it three times with Archival black ink and colored using luna water color pencils.
  • Later I fussy cut all three stamped images. I also made some extra leaves to add dimension.
  • Used a Neenah Solar CS for my card base and using distress ink made a background using another stamp from the same collection.
  • In order to add a sentiment I used a Die-namics die " Hugs" which comes  within a heart. I chipped off the border and used the word only.

So here we go with the card below.

Hope you like it and do leave some comments.
